Terri Brownfield has heard "through the grapevine" that we were considereing a move.  Because she called us before we even thought of getting a Realtor, we went ahead with her. About three weeks later, she came out to meet with us and to look at our home, making suggestions to facilitate our sale.  We followed her ideas and from then on, the ball was rolling.  Within a week the house was put on the market.  Terri came out and took pictures of the house and of the property.  From the pictures, we could see what changes still needed to be made within three weeks, the house sold.

      Many of Terri's qualities as a real estate agent stood out:

• Communication
  • Terri's communication to us was superb. From calling to reconfirm our first appointment to setting up appointments with potential buyers, to checking on times for our availaility to meet closing paper signing - there was no confusion on anyone's part because Terri persistently called to keep everyone informed.  She also returned calls diligently.
• Informative
  • Terri explained anything we didn't  understand regarding documents, unfamilar terms, expectations etc.
• Cooperations
  • Terri arranged our meetings with an agent from an out of the state real estate agency whose client purchased our home.  She was very professional and cooperative in serving as a liaison between us and the other agent.  She kept us informed throughout the transaction.
  • She also arranged for us to purchase another home in Idaho through the same real estate agent.  She has also arranged for another agent to assist us in another home sale in Arizona. Thanks to her we have had few worries in all these transactions.
• Follow-Up
  • Terri always followed up immediately on anything she said she would do for us, i.e. answer a question she didn't know, contact the other realtor involved - then would again let us know the outcome right away.
• Attitude
  • From the get go, we felt that Terri was there to do a service for us.  She was never condescending, impolite or rushed.  Her Christian values of politeness, patience and understanding were evident.  We know that if we stayed in the area that we would contour friendship with the Brownfield's.  Thank goodness for email and Christmas letters.
